This has been a year of revelations and unveiled mysteries. Or better, a year of losing enticing mysteries and myths and start facing the shallow reality! So Lucy was Lennon's son schoolmate instead of LSD in the Beatles song . Now how boring is that! But first it was the mysterious Deep Throat from the Watergate scandal who decided to go public. In fact, as we learnt later, it wasn't Deep Throat's decision. He is now old and senile. He has forgotten (!!!!) the details of the case and his participation (!!!). It was his grandaughter who decided to reveal Deep Throat's identity to the press and conviced her grandad to do so, hoping the family can make some money out of it (!!!!). Knowing Deep Throats old status in the FBI (No 2), many now affirm DTs motive was simple revenge as he had not been promoted to No 1 by Nixon.
I think ...wouldn't it have been better without knowing DTs identity? The mystery would have been preserved, DT remained a legend... instead we have a senile man with a greedy grandaughter. Shallow! Vulgar! I believe "Truth will make us free" but...sometimes...imagine,soon someone will reveal that Walt Disney was not cryogenized either!... XD


Este va siendo un anio de revelaciones y misterios desvelados. O mejor diria yo, un anio en el que hemos perdido interesantisimos mitos y misterios y nos hemos dado de narices con la aburridisima realidad. Como ya decia ayer, ahora resulta que Lucy era una companiera de clase del hijo de Lennon, en lugar de LSD en la famosa cancion . Que interesanteee eh? Puf. Y hay mas. Hace unas semanas, Garganta Profunda del escandalo Watergate , decidio revelar su identidad. O mejor dicho, como nos enteramos mas tarde, Garganta Profunda no decidio nada. El personaje es, hoy en dia, un hombre viejo y senil. Ha olvidado (!!!!) los detalles del caso y su crucial participacion (!!!!) en el Watergate. Fue su nieta quien le convencio de hacer publica su identidad a la prensa, con la esperanza de que la familia podra ahora sacarle jugo al pasado del abuelo (!!!). Ahora que sabemos quien era Garganta Profuda, y sabiendo el cargo que ocupaba en el FBI (era el Numero 2 en importancia), muchos afirman que su motivacion principal fue la venganza, ya que Nixon no le habia promocionado a Numero 1. Y pienso yo... no hubiera sido mejor si no hubieramos sabido quien es Garganta Profunda? Se hubiera preservado el misterio, GP hubiera continuado siendo la leyenda que era... ahora, en lugar de leyenda, tenemos a un viejecillo con una nieta codiciosa. Soso! Vulgar! La verdad nos hara libres, y de verdad que estoy de acuerdo con esta afirmacion pero..en algunos casos... es que imaginad, dentro de nada alguien saldra diciendo que a Walt Disney tampoco le conservan criogenizado ...!!! XD
