Recently, a co-worker sent me one of this "psychoanalize yourself!" tests which circulate by email. The questions were like : ' You are walking in a forest with another person. Who is this person?" - the answer was supposed to mean that person is the most important to you. The second question was "An animal crosses your path. What is the animal?" - the answer was supposed to mean the problems you encounter, so its size and qualites symbolise your problems. There were other questions but I will stop here. Because SD and I answered the same : a cat. Now this is supposed to mean our problems are small. But I also wonder if it was a literal answer and not a metaphor..because a cat is the problem in real life! A misterious and invisible cat who jumps our fence and fouls in our growing wild flower lawn. And not only fouling, but it moves the soil, disturbs the seeds and we are afraid this is going to spoil the wild flower lawn, as it is still growing and quite small and weak. We've tried citron pellets (cats are likely to hate them) and pepper powder (well, that makes them sneeze and annoys them!) but to no avail. The damn cat has come back. Again. What is one to do, then? We are not at home during the day. We cannot catch and scare the horrid thing. Worries, worries, worries...although one cannot help feeling annoyed, one is also happy this is the biggest problem we seem to have at the moment..isn't it?
