While reading Two Sides of the Moon by ex-NASA astronaut Col Dave Scott I was wondering where are all the Apollo modules nowadays. I know (because I've seen them) that Apollo XI is at the Air & Space Museum in Washington DC and the Apollo XIV is at the Astronaut Hall of Fame in Titusville, Florida (part of the Kennedy Space Centre by the way). But where are the rest? Today I found out. For the location of all Apollo, Gemini and Mercury spacecraft, the best website is : A Field Guide To American Spacecraft by James Gerard.

And with amazement and trepidation I've learned Apollo X is at the Science Museum in London. Apollo XV is at the US Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio. May we be able to take a detour to Dayton when we are in Ohio? (if we are in Ohio, we may end up in Maine, who knows!). If I don't get to see Apollo XV while in the US, I can always go up to London and see Apollo X when back in the UK in June. There's always hope!

Con sorpresa y regocijo leo que Apollo X esta en el Science Museum de Londres. Que cerca!! Y que Apollo XV esta en US Air Force Museum en Dayton, Ohio. Quiza podriamos desviarnos un poco al Sur cuando estemos en Ohio? (si vamos a Ohio, claro, porque al paso que vamos, acabaremos otra vez en Maine). Si no consigo ver el Apollo XV en Ohio, siempre me queda el Apollo X en Londres cuando volvamos a Gran Bretanya en Junio. Mientras hay vida, hay esperanza!
